low tide at Ballston Beach, early May, after a hard winter. the Pamet river was again breached last winter, and the parking lot is full of sand. miraculously the familiar shoreline houses still stand; the grasping fingers of the sea have not yet ripped them away.
update 2021: one of those houses is gone, another is on the edge. The iconic top of the cliff house seen in this image has been moved.
