This is a Herreschoff twelve and a half footer in Quissett Harbor Boatyard. It is June. The boat is being prepared to go in the water. I am thinking of twelves I have seen in the Bobolink.

Some notes on paper;

“coated card stock” is fairly thick conventional cellulose paper that has been coated to better display photographs printed by inkjet printers. The surfaces that I use are all matte, and are easy to write on, inside and outside of the note card. I typically choose a weight that is approximately 200 gsm, sometimes a bit lighter, sometimes a bit heavier, depending on what is available. I favor Finestra Premium at 230 gsm, a bright white, slightly cool colors.

“rag paper” is acid free archival rag paper. Your note cards will last longer than you or I will. :-)). I use the same pigment inks and I favor weights between 200 gsm and 300 gsm. My favorite is Hahnemuehle Photo Rag 308. The surface has a smooth finish, but is soft to the touch of a ball point pen.
